YARN SUPPORT – PROGRAM

Rosários 4, a yarn factory, is available to collaborate with designers and artisans by providing yarn for the design/creation of original projects. This collaboration extends to support in promoting these projects on the brand’s digital platforms (Instagram, Facebook, website).

WAYS OF COLLABORATION:

a) providing yarn for a new design (yarn for test knits not included);
b) providing yarn for use in video tutorials (sponsorship).

YARN OFFER FOR THE CREATION OF NEW DESIGNS

In this format, the designer is asked to provide:

1. Information about the pattern:

1.1. Submission of a proposal (sketch) of the project you intend to create and a brief description of it;
1.2. Information about the yarn you would like to use, characteristics, and color(s);
1.3. Amount of yarn needed;
1.4. Estimated date of publication of the pattern;
1.5. Publication/magazine/book or platform where the pattern will be published, as well as availability (paid or free pattern).

2. Designer information:
2.1. Name, city, country;
2.2. Link to patterns already published (website, blog, Ravelry page, etc.);
2.3. Link(s) to the social networks or other platforms where the work is published.

Selection

The selection of projects to be supported will be made based on the project and its alignment with the brand and availability of the publication schedule. Submitting a project to yarn support does not guarantee support for it.

Note: For those interested (e.g., young designers at the start of their careers), there is an opportunity—subject to selection and approval—for the design to be published by Rosários4 (photography and layout handled by Rosários4, and publication on the brand’s website). With this option, the designer must provide the sample to be photographed (or photographs of it, with adequate quality and resolution) and the instructions (text, charts, graphics, translations) in an editable format.

PUBLICITY

Rosários 4 followers love to follow the work in progress made with Rosários 4 yarns – and so do we. Therefore, we ask you to share photos of your WIPs so that they can also be shared on Rosários 4’s Instagram and Facebook pages (either by email or by tagging @rosarios_4 or @heritage.yarns.by.rosarios [IG] – @Rosarios4PT [FB] in your posts), namely:
– photos of the balls/skeins of yarn;
– photos of samples;
– photos of the WIP.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Posts made by the designer as part of yarn support must contain:
– hashtag #rosarios4 or #heritageyarnsbyrosarios;
– and tag @rosarios_4 or @heritage.yarns.by.rosarios.

PATTERN

The tutorial and/or website where it is published must refer to the yarn/brand (Rosários 4 or Heritage Yarns by Rosários), with a link to the Rosários 4 website (rosarios4.com).

 

YARN SUPPLY FOR USE IN VIDEO TUTORIALS

For this option, please provide:
– A description of your project (online school, knitting classes, instructor, etc.) and links to it (YouTube channel, website, social media, etc.).
– Link to previously published videos;
– Theme or purpose of the videos to be created using Rosários4 yarns;
– Yarns you would like to use in the videos + characteristics + colors;
– Quantities needed.
– Publication schedule.

For this option, a reference to the brand + logo in the video is required.
