Knitting stitches – linen stitch<\/span><\/h2>\n

It looks complicated, but it is actually quite simple. And you can knit this stitch with one, two or three colors. It is reversible – both sides are beautiful – and it does not curl, so it is a good knitting stitch for decoration projects, like rugs or blankets, or accessories, such as bags or scarfs.<\/p>\n

Here we used Ros\u00e1rios 4 70\u2019s<\/a> cotton yarn (one colour).<\/p>\n

Cast on an even number of stitches.<\/p>\n

Row 1:<\/strong> K1, yarn in front of the work, slip 1 stitch purlwise, yarn in the back, K1; repeat * until the last stitch, K1.
\nRow 2:<\/strong> P1, *yarn in the back, slip 1 stitch purlwise, yarn in front, P1*; repeat until the last stitch, P1.<\/p>\n
